Arrival and FAQ

The hotel is at a 10-minute walking distance from the train station and 2 minutes walking from the Sunnegga Express. Alternatively, you can catch an electric taxi at the train station. The rate is approx. CHF 22.— per way. In winter, we can also arrange for you a taxi transfer from the train station Zermatt to the hotel at a special rate of CHF 15.— per way for 1 – 2 people (rate for 3 or more people on request).

All rooms dispose of the same facilities: bath/shower with toilet, 81 cm (31 inches) flat screen TV, cable radio and TV channels, telephone, room safe and hair dryer. The categories’ differences are based on features such as: surface area, orientation, volume, bathtub or shower, storey, Matterhorn view. The room sizes vary between 21 m2 and 31 m2.

Check-in to our rooms is from 3.00 pm. If you are arriving before 3.00 pm, you can store your luggage at the hotel. Our reception is occupied until 9.30 pm. Should you arrive after 7.00 pm, we kindly ask you to inform our reception. If you arrive after 9.00 pm, it is necessary that you contact us beforehand, to give you all the necessary information about how to enter the hotel and your room. We ask you to check out by 11 am on your departure day. You are welcome to store the luggage at the hotel until you are leaving Zermatt. Our reception desk is open from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm and from 1.00 pm to 9.30 pm; therefore if you have to leave before 8.00 am, please notify the reception and settle your room bill in the evening before your departure.

We can organize gluten free bread and lactose free products but we do not have them readily available. Please contact us prior to your arrival so we can discuss your needs with you.
